Product Features
Individually crafted in the USA, these natural, Michigan hardwood bowls inherit the natural markings of the parent tree's grain pattern. Every bowl starts from a solid log block of natural black cherry wood and is cut by a series of saws and lathes to create the correct size and shape. After each bowl has been cut it undergoes a drying process for several weeks to prevent cracking and warping. Upon completion of this process, the bowls are sanded, inspected for quality, and finished with a Three BEEautiful Bees All-Natural Beeswax Polish. There is no waste in the creation - all remaining wood elements are recycled into firewood, animal bedding and paper pulp.

Care:
Wood bowls should not be soaked in water or used in a dishwasher or microwave. To clean the surface, a wet cloth or non-abrasive scrub pad should be used. Following cleaning, dry the surface with a dry cloth. To preserve it for generations, handwashing is recommended and bowls should be occationally treated with a beeswax polish. This process preserves the moisture content of the wood. Cherry wood will naturally darken with age.
