Product Features
For easy relanolizing of our wool diaper covers and other items made of virgin wool. Disana Lanolin Treatment dissolves quickly in water so the natural wool wax can reach and envelop every single fiber.
Instructions for lanolizing wool diaper covers:
Before lanolizing, wash wool covers with wool shampoo such a Disana Wool Wash. Shake well, then dissolve 2 tablespoons of Disana Lanolin Care Treatment in 1 liter (~1 quart) lukewarm water (25°C/77°F). Submerge and gently agitate the wool covers in the lanolin bath for a couple of minutes. Remove the cover and gently squeeze the water out of the wool. Lay cover flat on a towel, roll up then gently squeeze the rolled towel to remove as much water as possible. Air dry out of the sun and away from direct heat.
Do not apply Disana Lanolin to new wool covers, as there is sufficient natural lanolin in new wool.
Instructions for lanolizing high-quality woolen clothing:
Use the same technique to lanolize clothing but reduce the amount of lanolin to 1 teaspoon in 1 liter dissolve water.
