Our Easy Weavers are simple and logical in design, easy to understand and use even for someone who has never woven before. You can produce a surprising variety of woven pieces with ease - scarves, table runners, doll blankets and placemats. Sew the strips together and make pillow covers, blankets, clothing and more! The Easy Weavers are pre-threaded, with the yarn on them, as shown. Just open the box and start weaving!
The Easy Weaver "A" includes:
A warp of 100% Pure Virgin Wool 6-1/2" wide x 2-1/2 yards long.
Enough Yarn to weave 2 child sized rainbow scarves.

Illustrated Instruction Booklet.
Easy Weaver Book of Project Ideas is included. The 8 weaving projects in this sturdy bound book are designed especially for the original Easy Weaver A, but can easily be adapted to our larger Easy Weaver B. It includes patterns for scarves, table runners, coasters, placemats, pillows, a blanket, a poncho and even a hooded jacket. The projects are fun and easy to do with beautiful results. We’ve noted the level of difficulty for each pattern, from easiest to most difficult, so the result will be a practical finished woven piece that your child will be proud of! Refills for Easy Weaver 'A' are also available

Company Details:
Woolen yarn has been spun in the water powered, brick mill town of Harrisville since 1794. This small village is nestled in the Monadnock Highlands of southwestern New Hampshire and is the only industrial community of the early 19th Century that still survives in America in its original form. In 1977, the Department of Interior designated Harrisville a National Historic Landmark. The last surviving woolen mill in Harrisville closed in 1970 when the fashion world turned, temporarily, to synthetic double-knit fabrics. We established Harrisville Designs in 1971 with a goal of preserving the textile heritage and economic vitality that had sustained the village for almost two hundred years. Beginning with a line of high quality woolen hand weaving yarns, we soon branched out into hand weaving looms and equipment. It is that expertise and knowledge that has gone into the design and creation of our children's products, which were developed in response to a growing demand from parents and educators who wanted children to experience the joy and developmental benefits of working with their hands. We make beautiful Weaving, Knitting, Rug Hooking, Needlepoint, Crocheting, and Felting Kits using our own 100% natural yarns and fleece. We are a small, family owned and operated business, and we believe that quality should not be compromised for even the smallest product. There is a great tradition of textiles in our community and in our culture, and we are happy to share that tradition of quality by designing and marketing our yarns and tools. Employees live locally - some walk or bike to work. The company encourages recycling on site.
