Description
Product Features
Armed with just cameras, binoculars & some other equipment, we leave our camp & hike into the Park to learn about wildlife. We may be surprised what we learn about ourselves as well.
Our goal is to bring back as many photographs as we can of the animals we track and end up at the Guest Lodge for refreshment. We will try to leave the Park as undisturbed as possible, maybe leaving only our footprints behind. Before the game ends, we will learn about the wisdom of the woods, its dangers, its plants (both good & nasty), its creatures, large & small, AND ways of tracking that use sound, scent & sight to best advantage. Company Details:
Jim Deacove started making co-operative games for his own family and was encouraged by friends to make more. The Deacove family was and is no different from others. Sharing toys, helping mom and dad and being kind to others are values taught in all homes. To find games which help reinforce such sharing attitudes, however, was very difficult. Thus, Jim and Ruth felt the need to create some. In 1972, the "hobby" became a small business. The games are still made in small quantities, as a labor of love. For 40 years plus now Family Pastimes has used eco-friendly materials in making of their games. They use 100% recycled pasteboard, water based glues, non-toxic paints on the wooden pieces, soy-based and latex inks on recycled papers, corrugated containers from recycled papers, recyclable shrink film and even take care to pack shipments with reused materials that secured from local retailers.
